Founder Penguin

Hi, I’m Dipika Anand, the Founding Penguin 🐧 behind People Penguin.

I started my career in investment banking on Wall Street, where I learned to love spreadsheets, pressure, and asking uncomfortable questions with a straight face. That experience gave me a sharp analytical and strategic lens—one I still use today when thinking about talent, teams, and growth (just with far fewer late nights and much better coffee).

I then moved into executive search, helping companies hire leaders who didn’t just look good on paper but actually fit—the kind of people who elevate culture, not quietly break it. Most recently, I was Head of People at a health tech startup, where I built People systems from scratch and helped early-stage teams navigate rapid growth, ambiguity, and the very human side of scaling.

What ties it all together? I understand both the numbers and the humans behind them. I know what it takes to hire well, build teams thoughtfully, and create cultures that people actually want to be part of.
